Welcome to our three-year old classroom. Room 103 is a busy place where learning takes place in many different ways. Each day our students participate in music and movement, they work in centers with manipulatives and explore many different art mediums. They are learning to play together and work independently. They are developing social skills and becoming comfortable in the classroom setting. This is an important time in their development as they are learning to function independently and not be as dependent of their caregivers. Each day in the classroom is full of new activities where learning is taking place. Play with a purpose is what drives our curriculum.
Miss Meghan works closely with her students, encouraging them to interact with their peers and also to explore their environment. Each week the students attend Chapel and our Motor Development Program.
This is my seventh year teaching preschool. I have worked with all different age groups. It is truly my passion, and the path that God has led me to. I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree from University of La Verne in Liberal Studies in 2012. I am currently working on my Masters and Credentials at University of La Verne. I strongly believe in a hand’s on learning environment. It provides your children with the beginning learning tools that will lead them to success. I am also the teacher of the Ready Set Grow Program, which provides extra help for your children in different subjects. I am a firm believer that God is the ultimate foundation in a classroom. Teaching my students about his love is extremely rewarding. I look forward to watching your children learn and grow!
