Registration for the 2015-2016 academic year is open. Have you told your friends about our school?
Have you shared how the face of your child’s teacher lights up when your little one walks in the room? How your precious child is learning how to share and is developing skills to resolve conflict when sharing is oh-so-hard? Have you told them that First Baptist kiddos are developing independence and growing in confidence? That they are learning to articulately express their needs and emotions, how to work in groups, and are growing intellectually every day?
Have you told your friends about our school’s chapel program? How it is a place where children learn about the love that God has for them and all people? How they learn, through Bible stories and song, about forgiveness and compassion and healing – things that we adults could use more of ourselves!
At some point, First Baptist School became “home” for our family and not just because of my involvement with PSF. Being PSF President does give me a “behind the scenes” perspective though and I can tell you first hand that our teachers…they LOVE Sonbeam kids with a devotion that is special and strong.
It is why we chose to have our firstborn attend Kindergarten at First Baptist School and why our other kids will too. It is worth the investment.
First Baptist School is a special place. Let’s help boost enrollment and encourage our friends to make our school their home. Here are some ways you can help:
Share the link to the school website with your friends through email or on Facebook:
Bring a handful of flyers to parent groups you attend, to coffee shops you frequent, and to neighbors and friends.
And remember to say “thanks” to the teachers who make First Baptist School a program worth sharing.
